Paris weekend

The AC is totally inadequate
The AC is totally inadequate. They need to add better AC as the lowest it gets is 78 degrees. We checked out after 1 night and never got an apology or comment from the owner. Location is great. Place was clean but way too hot in the Summer

Not cleaned and poor communication
The place had an amazing location but when we arrived it was not cleaned and we couldn’t get in touch with the host. We never actually talked with Jose he had agents working on his behalf and they didn’t get back to us in a timely manner and we had to leave the place with our three kids while they cleaned. The apartment is mostly as advertised but a little worn and quite dark. Wouldn’t rent again.

Lovely Parisian boat hole !
Had a lovely 3 night stay this St Germain apartment . Despite some previous reviews have some genuine issues we had none at all during our stay and no problem at all with shower and toilet . Reached from a very quiet coartyard on the ground floor it has a very reasonable sized living/ kitchen area off which there were closed off 2 bedrooms with 2 singles and a double . Very clean and comfortable and no noise at all . The air con unit in the lounge was more than adequate to cool the apartment in 21 degree temp . 5mins walk to metro line 4 with great access to all areas . We like to visit the lively Rue de Mouffetard which is only a 20 min walk via the lovely Jardins de Luxembourg . I have stayed in Paris over 50 times and would say this is right up there and would stay again . My only very minor suggestion is that there are plenty of wine glasses but no normal glasses which would be welcome . Thanks again for hosting us . Robert

St Germain elegant suite
Decent stay in a nice location of Paris. Easy checkin and nice beds to sleep our family of five. However the washing machine was not working well so we didn’t use it and the pillows definitely need to be replaced. Otherwise our time at this spot was fine given the amount of time we spent in the apartment.

Not what I expected , disappointed
The pictures tell the wrong story. The place is not well maintained - walls peeling, broken tiles, worn out and missing linens, burned out light bulbs, and missing the basics like garbage bags and paper towel. Sadly, not very clean either. It’s a good location though, with lots of potential for improvement.

Good Location - Poor/Nonexistent Customer Service
Property located in a very convenient and lively section of St. Germain close to the Latin Quarter, great restaurants, brasseries, etc. Unfortunately, management will ignore your communication attempts if there is an issue with the unit. We had a plumbing/drainage problem and requested to have the issue resolved on two (2) separate occasions with NO response from anyone at Chic Suites. Be aware that IF you encounter a problem, they will not respond.....and why would they.....they already have your money! Sacre bleu! Zut alors! Mon dieu!

Dirty
We were not very satisfied with the apartment. our family of 5 stayed at the beginning of January. we rent apartments because it is more convenient for us with children to eat homemade food. but unfortunately in the kitchen there was absolutely no utensils for cooking food. only 1 pot and a few not very clean frying pans. the knives were completely dull and there was no cutting board at all. the dishes are all dirty, and the dishwasher washes disgustingly. some towels are gray in color, others with some kind of stains of unknown origin. in the washing machine there was a towel all dirty and damp, and from the washing machine there was a smell of mold and rotten linen. and it was not very pleasant to use the washing machine when the owner leaves such a surprise for the guests. dust everywhere. It is impossible to take a shower because the water drain does not work and all the water is standing. there is someone's hair on the walls of the shower. one battery in the room with 2 beds does not work. in principle, the apartments left a feeling of not very clean and negligent. although the apartments are located very conveniently, only 20-30 minutes from the main attractions. as well as in a quiet cozy courtyard. so de nice that there was coffee, tea, sugar and salt. such little things are important when you stay for a couple of days and do not need to buy separately.

Nice stay in a nice place
Nice place situated in an amazing part of paris. The place it self is very nice suited for 2 couples. It is near all the landmarks and has amazing restaurants located nearby
