Let me start with the positive: The location of the apartment is very convenient - close to lots of restaurants, shops, sites, and the metro. Also, I appreciated the ease of check-in, with clear self check-in instructions being emailed in advance. And, it was very handy to have a washer in the unit. However, that’s where the positive things end. The apartment was rather unkempt - stains on the wall, stains on the curtains, mold/mildew in the shower. It clearly has been a rental for some time and is showing its wear. The apartment would benefit from a new coat of paint and a deep clean. Additionally, I was disappointed with the AC. While the unit worked well, it was a particularly hot period during my stay. Since the AC unit is only in the kitchen and the bedroom has a plexiglass window, the bedroom never cooled down. It was stifling the first night. I was rather disappointed by this, as I had specifically selected a rental with AC. This could be a great place with a little TLC.

Let me start by saying that this place is in an incredible location. we loved the location but the place - not so much. It was musty and dirty, and could not use the AC without it flooding the kitchen floor. The main bed was decent, but the sofa bed is not comfortable enough for adults. we were traveling with kids, so the sofa bed was fine. the kitchen barely had any dishes, etc Having said that, if you aren't looking to stay in the apartment and cook a few meals, this placenis is in an excellent location in the 2ieme arrondissement. 15 mins walk from the Louvres, 20 mins walk from Opéra Paris and an Uber ride away from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de triomphe + Champs Elysée ( or 1 hr walk if you are interested). there are loads of excellent restaurants around, beautiful boulangerie, patisserie, etc.

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral, man ist schnell an der Metro und auch fußläufig kann man viel erkunden. Die Straßen in der Umgebung bieten viele Bistros, Cafés und Restaurants zum Einkehren. Nachts war es mitunter laut. Die Unterkunft ist für vier Personen (zB wie bei uns zwei Erwachsene + zwei Jugendliche) für ein langes Wochenende völlig ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist gut, inkl. einer Nespresso-Maschine. Die Wohnung ist nicht mehr in neuem Zustand und zeigt einige Spuren von Abnutzung, aber war bei der Anreise frisch gereinigt und für uns in Ordnung so.

Very convenient if you are travelling with kids and planning to go to Disneyland - it is only 15 minutes away from Auber, where you can take a direct train there. Arrival was really easy. Jose was responsive and kind. He let us drop off our bags 6 hours before our check in time. When we arrived to drop our bags, we saw that the room had already been cleaned and asked Jose if we could take a nap since we had just taken a red eye flight. He allowed us to do so. The apartment was impeccably clean. We were 3 people visiting and I can attest that the pull out couch bed was extremely comfortable. If I were able to come back to Paris, I absolutely would stay here again.

Our check-in was at 5pm. We showed up at 6:30pm and the bed was unmade and the place had not been cleaned. The host was quick to send someone over but all they did was make the bed. The apartment is in a great locations but we just didn’t have the best luck with the apartment. On top of the not cleaned apartment at check in, the Wifi was down for two days of our stay. While the host was very communicative and quick to help resolve issues, the fact that there were so many issues to begin with make it hard for me to give a higher rating.

El departamento es excepcional: está muy cerca de varias líneas del metro y autobuses. Se puede ir caminando a varios museos, hay restaurantes y bares y cafés en las cercanías. También supermercados y tiendas. El departamento es tal cual las fotos publicadas: cómodo, muy bonito, luminoso. Éramos dos amigas y estuvo muy bien para dormir una en la habitación y otra en el sofá cama del living. Las camas son muy cómodas. El edificio es silencioso y el barrio muy lindo también. Cuando volvamos a París, sin dudas nos volveremos a alojar allí. ¡Un alojamiento muy recomendable para estadías cortas o largas!

We are used to city noises so they didn’t bother us too much until Saturday night when the bar below became very loud. We enjoyed our stay in Paris so much and found this a very relaxing place. We hadden een fijne tijd in dit appartement. Toen we arriveerde was de schoonmaker nog niet klaar en de sleutels niet op de genoemde locatie. Gelukkig konden we makkelijk de agence rental bereiken. En binnen 2 minuten hadden we de sleutel. Het appartement was top! De douche lekte een beetje maar was verder prima. In de nacht is er veel geluid (in het weekend) door de barretjes in de omgeving. Maar dat heb je als je midden in de stad verblijft. Je kan naar heel veel bezienswaardigheden dingen lopen! En als je de tram wilt pakken is die ook om de hoek! Wij hebben het als een heel fijn verblijf ervaren!

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the most ideal location! 15 minute walk from the Louvre and plenary of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. The apartment is nice and spacious, three of us stayed there and there would definitely be room for one more. The sofa bed was huge! Not the comfiest but overall amazing stay!

Cette année est mon second séjour longue durée auprès de l'Agence Rental car j'apprécie hautement...
Cette année est mon second séjour longue durée auprès de l'Agence Rental car j'apprécie hautement à la fois l'emplacement et les commodités proposées. Le logement est situé dans un immeuble très sécurisé et une rue paisible . La situation est idéale: proximité immédiate des lignes de transport -bus, métro-, des superettes (une dizaine autour de l'immeuble), des boulangeries-pâtisseries (certaines citées dans plusieurs guides), des nombreuses brasseries (plusieurs dans le style Art Déco), théatres, Passages Couverts, Grands Magasins . 10/15 minutes suffisent pour rejoindre Le Louvre et guère plus pour Montmartre. L'appartement est joliment décoré, propre, très confortable, pourvu de multiples commodités: air conditionné, sèche-serviettes, nombreuses prises électriques, cintres, parapluies, produits d'entretien et d'alimentation de base. Je conseille vivement ce logement !

Even better than I expected. Even during Covid 19 and a mandatory lock down, I couldn't be happier that I spent my time in this wonderful apartment. The neighborhood is safe and within walking distance to the Louvre, the Palais Garnier Opera, the Siene, several markets, bakeries, at least 30 restaurants and bars, two metro's, city bikes, Palais Royal and the Galleries Lafayette. It's definitely a happening neighborhood (when the country is open) full of lively happy hours, but the apartment is relatively peaceful. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped, except for an oven, which you won't need in this neighborhood and their is a washing machine for clothes and a towel warmer for drying. Check-in was seamless. There is a full size pull out couch with extra linen provided. And an air conditioner, fans and a heater. It is a secure building and the owners are kind and accommodating. There is a small closet and good wi-fi. There is also a very helpful and detailed guide on how to use the appliances and neighborhood and tourist recommendations provided at check-in. I highly recommend this apartment. The chandeliers, charming decor and wonderful neighborhood with historic passageways make this place feel like a true Parisian get away.

Beautiful apartment in a brilliant location. Everything you need and more, the apartment is very homely and welcoming with all the necessities you need, it is extremely clean and to a high standard! Everything is close by and within walking distance and if not the metro is only 1 minute walk away. Frederic was very accommodating and helpful, could not have asked for a better stay, we were very sad to leave this beautiful apartment and look forward to staying again!

The apartment wasn't throughly cleaned (the cleaning person was still there when I arrived). It was only the floors that needed more than what was done. The apartment is above the street, so earplugs are recommended. This isn't unusual in a city. However, I used the air conditioning more than I usually would have because I couldn't open the windows at nigh because of the noise below.

Great location. Easy to get to 2 metro stations. If you are taking Eurostar, it is very easy to just take metro to the apartment. Beds were a little hard, but that was just our taste, not a fault of the apartment. The layout worked well for 3 adults. Well-centered for sightseeing. Frederic was very responsive and easy to get get ahold of. Great place that we looked forward to at the end of each day.

Initially we booked a 2 bedroom with him, but they had an issue, so they gave us 2 1-bedrooms as an alternative, which worked out fantastic (they were next door to each other). Check in/check out is very easy. One of the rooms was available early, so we could check in early. Location is great, easy walking to just about everything and multiple metro lines within 5 minutes walking. A ton of restaurants nearby, supermarket down the street as well. Would definitely stay here again. A+ Airbnb!

When we first arrived around 10:30 pm, the apartment looked liked it had not been cleaned well. Previous reviews said that it was very clean so we were slightly disappointed. We emailed Frederic because there were no clean towels and he replied that there had been a miscommunication and the cleaning crew had not finished. They came by the next morning and it was spotless when they were done. Frederic and his team were great with answering emails and the apartment itself was in good condition with all updated appliances. The location is great and the walking tour provided in the welcome packet was an excellent introduction to the area. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area as well. We had an excellent time in Paris and would recommend this apartment to our friends.

We went out and purchased extra at a near by mini store. No dryer but there is a drying rack. A full manual is provided with information in which you will need. We used it quite a bit.

The Louvre Opera Design was the most perfect place for my fiancee and I to stay while in Paris. It is located in a quieter neighborhood with easy access to the Metro. With a short walk you have access to numerous restaurants and cafes. The check in and check out couldn't have been easier. The host keeps the apt keys in a lock box just inside the first door. The keys have a fob on them, and that opens all of the doors except the front door to the apt. The apt itself was immaculately clean and remodeled. The bathroom was very nice! The shower had great pressure, and the best part... the towel heater! It was so nice having warm towels the entire time. The apt does have a clothes washer, but no dryer. We just laid out our clothes on the towel dryer and it worked great. We used the microwave as well as the stove top to cook some breakfast. We never tried the TV, but I am sure it works. The bed was a little stiff, but very clean and to me that is way more important than a perfectly comfy bed. Overall this place was awesome for a perfect, romantic Paris vacation!

This beautiful apartment was exactly as depicted in the listing. We couldn't stop smiling when we first opened the door. It was so clean that I walked around barefoot which I rarely do. The location was perfect with metro stops within a ten-minute walk. It was great to have a washer but there isn't a physical dryer; it’s actually a drying rack. We were pleasantly surprised by a bottle of champagne in the fridge. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed during a time of year where we could leave the windows open while sleeping. I recommend using ear plugs because there is a late-night bar across the street. In their guide book in the apartment they have a map that details a one-hour tour of the neighborhood so you can get your bearings. My friends and I would happily stay here again.

The room was very nice, clean and just the right amount of space for 2! The kitchen provided all the amenities. The television was a challenge to figure out, but didn't have much time for it anyway. The bed was firm and comfy - slept great! The shower had great pressure, plenty hot water and was roomy. The washing machine was great to have available, however there is only a hanging rack to dry. I did love the heating rack that offers up a warm towel to dry off. Overall, the stay was fantastic. The room was just the right fit for my husband and I. I would recommend it to family and friends. It's conveniently located by several restaurants with great food. In addition close to the metro and the Louvre is right up the block.

The surrounding area was beautiful with everything you need within 10mins walking time (restaurants , supermarkets and metro). The apartment was extremely clean and of a very high standard with not much if any street noise. Host was very easy to contact at any time and very helpful. My wife and our 2 kids (13 & almost 16) stayed at Andre's Opera Design apt in Paris Jul 10-15, 2016. Would not hesitate to stay again. Tight space for 4 people but typical for Paris or London, and only in room to sleep, shower and have breakfast some mornings. Bed is very comfortable (excellent!) and firm, apt very clean, nicely decorated just as in pictures. Air conditioning works very well, nice to have a cool place to sleep after abuzz day out. Nice shower too. Kids report sofa bed was comfy enough, seemed better than average to me. Large windows open to allow breeze into apt. 10 min walk to Louvre area and metro stations just 2 blocks away. Access was easy and Frederic was quick to respond on behalf of Andre to assist with check in and taxi info. Had a great stay in Paris - Thanks Andre and Frederic!

My family and I stayed at Andre's Louvre Opera Design in June 2016. Though the flat was a tight squeeze for the 4 of us, it was extremely well designed and provisioned. The location was quite central with many attractions being walking distance and a metro station and several amenities close back,i.e., supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and shops. However, most important was his excellent pre-departure information and follow up. The manual that he sent lacked for nothing, was very precise and provided all useful information starting from how to get to the flat, which form of transport to use, places of local interest, recommendations for restaurants and activities, etc. We followed it like a map! Would highly recommend staying here, though I think it would be ideal for a couple or at most 3 people.

We dealt with Frédéric during our stay in Paris. When we arrived we were disappointed to find that the cooling system was not working and contacted Frédéric to see if there was anything that could be done. He sent one of his colleagues over to try and get it working, but they were unable to get it fixed the first night. The next morning, they sent a technician to us and had it running by the afternoon. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process as well. The apartment itself is beautiful and well decorated, and I loved the tall ceilings and large windows. The only complaint would be the street noise at night, but that's not exactly something that can be avoided in a city! I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to get a genuine Parisian experience!

Propre, tout le nécessaire sur place (de grande qualité), une petite attention à notre arrivée et une solution plus que rapide à un petit souci de connection wifi. L'emplacement est idéal : quelques pas des métros, du musée Grevin, des passages couverts ( panorama,...) et du boulevard Hausmann mais aussi à 15 min du Louvre, du Palais Royal,... Nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation.

Een mooi appartement, in een rustige omgeving en zeer gunstig gelegen! Het ligt dicht bij de Louvre en bij de Grand Boulevards. Tevens van loopafstand naar bv. leuke wijk Le Marais en Les Halles. En vlakbij een bakker en supermarkt. We hebben Andre niet gezien maar zijn collega heeft ons per mail uitgelegd hoe we in het appartement konden komen en dat ging perfect. Als je vragen hebt beantwoord Andre eigenlijk ook onmiddellijk. Het appartement is nog heel nieuw met prima bedden waarvan 1 luxe uitklap bedbank en met mooie badkamer en ruime keuken. Alles was heel schoon en ruimschoots (luxe) voorzien van allerlei benodigdheden (vaatwasser en wasmachine) Wij hebben er een leuke tijd gehad en komen zeker weer terug!

Stayed 3 nights in mid-Feb and the apartment was exactly as advertised i.e. clean, compact and VERY central to lots of tourist sights etc. Great neighbourhood with lots of eating options, 3 diff. metro stations to choose from, and very lively at night in a positive way ! Bed was very comfortable and sofa-bed more than adequate for younger children. Apartment access instructions were clear and easy to follow, and on our last day, Frederic whom we dealt with, allowed us to leave our luggage in the secure basement area as our flight was not until the late evening so we had another day to explore the wonderful city that is Paris !

Great apartament, perfect location
Fantastic accommodation in central Paris! Very convenient if you are travelling with kids and planning to go to Disneyland - it is only 15 minutes away from Auber, where you can take the direct train there. Arrival was really easy. Even though the apartment wasn’t ready, we were given the code to access the building, collected the keys and left our luggage to start enjoying the city. Highly recommend it!

The apartment was great! Very well located, very comfortable, beautiful, practical, silent, private. It was everything we wished for! We won't hesitate to stay there on our next trip to Paris! I strongly recommend it!

Enjoyable stay
Check in wasn't until 5pm, however, we were able to access the apartment a few hours earlier with the key to drop off our bags after letting the host know ahead of time. The apartment was small but clean and cozy, and had everything we needed except paper towels and Kleenex, which was easy enough to pick up at a nearby grocery store. There were just 2 of us and we stayed for 9 days, so we also had to buy extra toilet paper. The kitchen had 4 complete sets of utensils, glassware, plates, and bowls, and sufficient cutlery, cookware, and utensils to prepare simple meals. There is a small dorm sized refrigerator which kept our food and drinks properly cold; no freezer within, but we didn't need one. The shower head couldn't be secured in any other position other than an almost 90 degree angle upright because the knob was broken, but it could be used as a shower wand. Otherwise, the shower was spacious and the water pressure was good, and both sinks and showers provided hot water quickly. Four small bath towels were provided, but no washcloths. Street noise and outside pedestrian noise were minor and could easily be blocked out with earplugs for a good night's sleep. The bed is quite firm, but we preferred it that way; we didn't use the sofa bed, but the sofa was comfortable. Neighborhood felt safe, it was a short walk to a couple of Metro stations, and there were plenty of restaurant options nearby. Many businesses are closed on Sun. and Mon. in Paris, so buying some food ahead of time to cook or snack on during those days is recommended. (Often, restaurants whose business hours claimed online to be open on Sun. or Mon. actually weren't open at all when we visited them, so have a backup plan or 2.) If coming from the USA, you will need to bring a 110V plug adapter for charging non-dual voltage devices.

Perfect, clean, adorable apartment conveniently located
My husband and I just returned from Paris after staying a week visiting our daughter who is studying in Paris. The apartment was exactly what we needed. Everything available as advertised in the posting. One floor up and there was an elevator which we took with luggage but otherwise took the stairs. Walking distance (less then 5 mins) to 2 metro stops with 3 different lines to start your journey. Was VERY easy to get to where we wanted to from this very central location. We were able to walk to the Louvre (my husband and I are in our 50/60s). There is a brasserie across the street and several more down on the Main Street about 2 blocks away which were nice for a morning coffee and croissant. I recommend exploring the covered passages shops that start about a block over from the apartment. Lots of cool food shops and eclectic sellers and more to choose from for meals (best coffee I had in all of Paris from a takeaway coffee shop just inside the passage off Rue Saint-Marc…and I am a coffee person). Also there is a wonderful classic bistro just down Rue Saint-Marc run by a couple that was just so good and authentic we ate there twice! (Cafe Clementine). Really, everything with the apartment went so smoothly, the hosts had thought of everything (plenty of hangers in closet, extra towels, additional comforter which we used on cooler nights, a fan for warmer nights, coffee to make ourselves, shampoo and soap). The bed was wonderful. We do prefer a firm bed. We had brought earplugs in case the city noise was too much but we never used them (we did go to bed late so maybe most of it was over or we were so exhausted we slept deep!). Our daughter stayed with us a couple of nights and the couch pullout was simple with good instructions from the hosts and she found it was comfortable to sleep. I would highly recommend this apartment and location.
