The apartment offers a central location in the Saint Germain des Prés and Montparnasse district, which became famous with Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre, two philosophers who left their mark on intellectual thought by founding the existentialist movement. They lived in the neighborhood, wandering the cafes and streets of the left bank. A square in front of the church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés bears the name (Sartre-Beauvoir). This legendary couple met in the cafes of Saint Germain des Prés and Montparnasse to develop their ideas. Café de Flore, Les 2 magots, La Closerie des Lilas. Today it continues to attract all of Paris.

Bon emplacement

Emplacement top, l’appartement est sympa et confortable. Très bonne communication en amont. En revanche, nous avons été déçus par le manque de propreté et de qualité des équipements: porte de salle de bain défectueuse, propreté moyenne, manque d’équipement simple (pas de serviette pour les mains dans la cuisine ni de torchon pour la vaisselle notamment).

Good location but not a good flat

Overall, the apartment was at a good location and easy to access. Communication with you was excellent. The apartment was well equipped. However, there were two things that made our stay less comfortable. One, although the flat was well lit, it had no openable windows anywhere (and no vents in the bath/toilet). It made the air very stuffy. Two, between the shower and the bedroom (and between the living room and outside corridor) were transparent panels in the walls, meaning any time we turned on the light in the bath (or our neighbours walked in) we had light coming in to the flat. This was very uncomfortable and woke us up in the night. Thank you for the stay, we really love Paris.
