Overall, my experience was very good with some minor details, the bathroom was very smelly from day 1, there was moisture in walls and bathroom that needed cleaning or repair, and there was no full body mirror. Access was easy, beds, furniture, kitchen and appliances were comfortable and in very good shape. The place felt very safe and quiet for resting. I don’t appreciate being asking for filling the wash disher and taking trash out since I’m being charged a cleaning fee. Check out time could be later, 10am seems early to me. They could add value by adding bikes and a menu with suggestion for local close by restaurants, shops or attractions.

Good apartment for Paris standard
Positive: Very good location with good size for 4 adults + 1 child (10 years old) occupancy for a weekend. As per Paris standards, dining living space is fairy reasonable. Good water pressure and enough hot water sippy for shower for all. Rather larger size shower space for Paris. 2 sinks bathroom was handy. Negative: Very late check in time (5pm). Check out time is 10am, so compare to standard Air Bnb / self catering properties it is extremely long cleaning hours considering they sent you a message from owner to put all dishes in dishwasher and run (only 1 tablet provided), and also asked to put all rubbish out to communal rubbish bin outside. (To be fair you are allowed to leave your bag after noon on the check in date.) It is a management company owned property and one of many apartments they manage - so not much room for negotiations and communication is rather less personal. But considering locations and size of the property it still is a good Paris accommodation.

Really great location in easy walk of everything you want to see in Paris. Great street with cafes and bakery next door. Apartment has everything you need, is small but that’s Paris. A little more outdated than the pictures but warm, cosy and clean. Only recommendation would be to ‘leave’ a few extra items as we had this with another air bnb in london and it makes that final difference. For example, some more toilet rolls given our stay was 7 nights, tea towels, a chopping board to make cooking easier. Also some cleaning products particularly toilet cleaner as it has no window so needs to be Kept very tidy and done washing liquid and dishwasher tablets (only left 1 for a week stay). Small complaints otherwise we had a really great stay with great communication from the agent.

Positive: Location of this apartment is excellent with supermarket, restaurants and bakery nearby. Quiet, safe and clean apartment. Subways nearby and bus stops just outside the apartment. The size of the apartment though is small but is just nice for 4 adults. The 2 bedroom is a little small but still ok. Negative: The furniture and flooring is a little old but it does not bother us.

De instructie om de woning te betreden was duidelijk en de woning voelde huiselijk. In de omgeving zelf zitten leuke restaurantjes en bakkers op loopafstand.

The location is great, walking distance to some touristic points and very close to Metro or Bus. Only thing to improve is the kitchen appliances. Positive: location was incredible. You cant fault the easy access to many of the touristy sites of Paris. But also a very clean and well to do area. No poverty in this location. Negative: The unit was too small for a family. We got the impression from online it would take 6 people at a push but still comfy. it didnt. it is very small. 4 max for comfort. The shower plug was blocked the first day we arrived. no one could shower, and at 33 degrees we needed showers! very frustrating. the ydid fix it the next day but i cant help but thin k the cleaners would have known this the day before we took over. A sink plug was also blocked. The portable air-con unit was very poor. We had to have it running full blast 24/7 and could not get it to drop the temperature below 24 degrees. Very unpleasant in the muggy conditions. No instructions on how to run the washing machine. When you dont speak french or cant read, this was difficult. Lastly, this unit is managed by a third party. Difficult and very impersonal. Never met them, everything was by message. one reply when requesting some info was simply "Nope". To put this into context, This is the 7th place of accommodation on this family holiday. 6 have been excellent but this one was a real let down. Lots of areas they can improve.

Positive: Location Negative: Check-in only from 5pm and check out at 10am. They give themselves 7 hours to change the sheets and towels, because they cannot even take out the trash (they ask guests to do it). In our case they didn't touch the room until 4.30pm. Host forces the guests to use external links to block damage deposit. I would understand it if the furniture was new and nice but it's old and weary.

The suite was as advertised - a few tweaks (pillow cases for all beds and replacing burnout light bulbs in the bathroom) would be appreciated. Amazing bakery steps from the front door to grab pastries/lunch to go. Be sure you've got the "right" green door once entering the courtyard - there are 2 and it is a bit confusing. Compact, conventient and ideal location.

Although the apartment met our needs in terms of location and the number of beds, I was surprised by the lack of quality for the price we paid. Some of the walls were water damaged or had peeling paint. The shower and toilet were dirty and there was the smell of mold under the kitchen sink that seemed to be leaking. The air-conditioning did not cool the bedrooms, so we needed to use fans, one of which didn't work very well. If you can overlook these things, the apartment is located in a beautiful neighborhood, with a bakery right next store. Since we had mixed feelings about this place, I am not sure that we would return.

Mas o pior é que é muito sujo havia po por toda a parte para pessoas alérgicas não é indicado, muito sujidade acumulada já não era sujo de um dois dias mas muito tempo mesmo. Os rodapés tavam pretos a sanita tinha manchas a banca igual tudo saia se fosse limpo com um detergente adequado. O exaustor com gordura nem teve coragem de usar a cozinha muito sujo Falei com o anfitrião para tentar resolver o problema disse que mandava algum para limpar quando voltei não vi diferença nenhuma tava tudo igual, ainda teve coragem de mandar as fotos que a limpeza fez e tava igual sujo. Não há diferença entre a foto que eu mandei e a foto da pessoa da limpeza. Para pessoas sensíveis a limpeza não recomendo.

The apartment is very good, modestly sized but well appointed. We liked that it's only a short walk to jardin du Luxembourg, two Metro stations and several bakeries. Check-in/out is easy. The apartment loses a star because the upstairs neighbours are really annoying: as someone else said in their review, they make noise late at night, sometimes well after midnight, and it's clearly audible in the main bedroom.

We were quite pleased with the accommodations: clean and quiet with all the expected accessories. We did find the directions confusing because rather than the room being "the large green door on the left at the end of the courtyard" ours was the small green door past the large green door". Additionally, the safe was unusable for us because it was an unusual design and lacked printed directions. We appreciated being able to drop our bags in the apartment prior to check-in; however, when we returned at check-in time the cleaning crew had just arrived and the room was not ready for another hour.

Negative: Polvere nelle lampade, nei pensili alti, dietro al mobilio e negli angoli, qualsiasi cosa venisse spostata c’era il rischio di trovarvi dello sporco, strofinacci della cucina sporchi, purtroppo pulizia non da 9 come segnato. Eravamo 5 e le sedie al tavolo erano per 4, abbiamo usato la poltrona ma non è certo la stessa cosa.

This compact, ground-floor apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. There were four of us. It can sleep five: there's a pull out bed in the couch in the living room, but we didn't use it. The apartment is a perfect base for touring Paris. It sits between two metro stations, and it's an easy commute from Gare du Nord. Many of the major tourist sites of central Paris are a short walk or a quick metro ride from the apartment. There are lots of bakeries and cafes in the immediate neighborhood. The only con is that the walls are very thin. Bring your bouchons d'oreilles, because the Spanish-speaking neighbors who share a wall are very loud and keep late hours. They bathe their kids around midnight in a bathroom abutting the flat's master bedroom. The children like to sing in the tub. Other than that one issue, it's a lovely base for touring Paris.

Double sink in bathroom was nice, too. Super easy check in. We would have liked to leave our bags after checkout, which wasn’t possible, but they did provide information for a baggage check place (we ended up doing it at the train station).

But the tip of the iceberg, was when we realized that the DRAIN IN THE SHOWER was clogged. In addition to this, the TOILET GOT CLOGGED as well. There was nothing in the apartment to fix the issue. We had to go in the middle of the night and find equipment to improve the stuation. The host did not reply to our message until the next day. Where he said that he is sorry and try to do sth. by the way, I check the feedback afterwards, and I saw that another person had similar issues in March. Hence, the HOST NEW THE ISSUE. Hence, 5 people were not able to go to the toilet or shower for 4 nights!!!! When I requested our money back to try to find another accommodation he ghosted us. No reply at all..... He only called me the last day to see if I left the keys and checked out. UNBELIEVABLE. We have requested our money back but so far no reply. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Esperienza terribile. Purtroppo mi fa anche dubitare sulle mie prossime scelte nell'opzione casa/albergo. Qualche dubbio c'è stato sin dalle ore precedenti l'arrivo perchè dal'host arrivavano sempre messaggi automatici e sempre in francese malgrado avessi chiesto l'inglese. Appena arrivati troviamo che manca una federa ed un copripiumino matrimoniale è macchiato di sangue ! Dopo poco ci accorgiamo anche che il wc si ottura. Provo a scrivere all'host (di cui non viene fornito il cellulare) ma niente. Provo a chiedere aiuto all'helpdesk di Airbnb. La mattina successiva Ana di Airbnb mi contatta e mi segnala che neanche loro riescono a contattare l'host. Si ipotizza un cambio di appartamento ma non è così semplice anche vista la durata complessiva non così lunga (3 notti). Dopo qualche ora mi richiama Ana dicendo che hanno sentito il co-host, che deve essere il vero proprietario, che assicura loro che agirà subito. Alla sera rientriamo in casa ma nulla è cambiato. Così sarà anche la sera successiva, non si è nenahce degnato di cambiare il lenzuolo macchiato ! Sul problema al wc, mi arriva un messaggio dall'host in cui mi conferma che è un problema noto del palazzo !!! Segnalo quindi a tutti di lasciare perdere questo appartamento che pure sarebbe in un bel quartiere e comodo e di lasciare perdere questo host ! In merito ad Airbnb mi hanno detto che provvederanno al rimborso del 50% della prima notte ma oltre a sembrarmi molto poco mi sono sembrati inermi di fronte ad una situazione che andava gestita prontamente.

Pros: The location is good with short walks to Metro stations. Luxembourg Gardens is nearby. There is a bakery just a couple of doors down. The apartment was quiet, clean, and spacious. Cons: Minutes after arriving we notified the host about a light not working in the bathroom, and there being no toilet paper in the apartment. Unfortunately, we never got a reply about taking care of those issues, so we bought some toilet paper and dealt with a poorly lit bathroom during our stay.

Pros: great location. Many restaurants and shops a short walk away, and many tourist attractions within walking distance if you’re happy to spend the day walking. Our family of 5 (3 kids) fit fine for our 5 night stay, longer than that would be difficult given the apartment size. Easy check in. Cons: the apartment was dirty at check in, sticky floors, crumbs, and a steady flow of ants (live ants all over the kitchen and bathroom, dead ants as well, showing me no one vacuumed between guests). We contacted the host and only received a message that they were working on a solution, but no further communication or any apology for the condition of the apartment. The kitchen is small and very lightly stocked, so if planning to cook you need to be creative and plan to get all staples at the store - salt, pepper, oil, garbage bags, napkins, etc. These issues are very easy to address, I do hope management does address them, as it could be a great little apartment if kept cleaner.

The apartment is in an incredible location and has enough room for a family of five. Unfortunately when we arrived after a long travel day the apartment hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. To make matters much worse we couldn’t get in touch with Jose or his staff for quite a while. We had to leave the apartment for a few hours when the cleaning staff finally arrived at 6:00 pm. We talked to Jose’s staff eventually and they were somewhat apologetic but didn’t follow up to make sure the cleaners ever arrived. The unit is worn and could use a refresh but the location would trump that if it was clean and Jose was communicative but unfortunately neither were the case. I would not recommend this apartment.

I've used airbnb for over 8 years and this is the first time I experienced a negative stay. The apartment is in an amazing location and very pretty, but on our first morning the shower flooded. Water ran the length of the bathroom into the foyer/entrance area. Also, the toilet water raised (while it didn't overflow, it took a while for the water to go down, so no one wanted to risk using the bathroom). I contacted the host/agency and didn't hear back for over 2 hours. By that point, since more than 2 hours had passed since we'd reached out to the host, Airbnb reimbursed us the remaining 2 nights of stay (less booking & cleaning fee). We had to search last minute for new lodging, paid $300 more than what was reimbursed and wasted the whole morning and afternoon of our trip dealing with the issue. Later that day my friend realized she had left some items behind. I emailed the owner/agency, grant it very late, at 1:00am, expecting to hear back at around 9 or 10am the next day but didn't get a response till 4:36pm. I've used airbnb loads of times and it's the first time i've had something like this happened. I totally understand that things like pipe issues can happen, but waiting around for an acknowledgement to our message caused a great deal of stress on our trip.

unfortunately, we had an horrible experience with this apartment, as the drain of the shower was obstructed and the host wasn't able to solve it, neither fixing it or refunding our money. We spent to nights there without the possibility of having bath or using the toilet, and after many many calls to Airbnb they interrupted our stay, but without a satisfactory solution: they gave as an parcial refund and led us solve the problem to where staying the next 2 nights we had in Paris. After this, I'm really reconsidering if I'm going to use Airbnb again and still trying to get total refund, as we went through a real nightmare :(((

This place was just as described: excellent location, a perfect layout for our family of four, clean and well organized amenities. It’s also super easy access on the first floor of a beautiful building. No windows in the bedrooms, which was a plus for us as we adjusted to a 9 hour time difference. We did have some issues with changes to check-in time and wifi not working, but the agency was responsive and was able to meet our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

We were not very satisfied with the apartment. our family of 5 stayed at the beginning of January. we rent apartments because it is more convenient for us with children to eat homemade food. but unfortunately in the kitchen there was absolutely no utensils for cooking food. only 1 pot and a few not very clean frying pans. the knives were completely dull and there was no cutting board at all. the dishes are all dirty, and the dishwasher washes disgustingly. some towels are gray in color, others with some kind of stains of unknown origin. in the washing machine there was a towel all dirty and damp, and from the washing machine there was a smell of mold and rotten linen. and it was not very pleasant to use the washing machine when the owner leaves such a surprise for the guests. dust everywhere. It is impossible to take a shower because the water drain does not work and all the water is standing. there is someone's hair on the walls of the shower. one battery in the room with 2 beds does not work. in principle, the apartments left a feeling of not very clean and negligent. although the apartments are located very conveniently, only 20-30 minutes from the main attractions. as well as in a quiet cozy courtyard. so it was nice that there was coffee, tea, sugar and salt. such little things are important when you stay for a couple of days and do not need to buy separately.

The location is really great-almost everything is within walking distance, the metro is very convenient and the neighbourhood is charming. Accommodations were compact- but we didn’t spend all that much time in the apartment other than to sleep.

The location is amazing!!! The unit is very charming!!! When we checked in there was only 1 roll of toilet paper, no dishwasher/dish or laundry soap. The duvet for the pull-out couch was covered with food and very dirty. The shower was covered in mold and dirty, we went to the store and bought a scrub brush and bleach to clean it. The beds and pull-out couch are very uncomfortable and the headboard and chair are ripped. They need to provide extra towels for your renters as there is no dryer and it took 2 days for our towels to dry when we washed them. There were no dish clothes to clean with or dish towels to do the dishes. There is only 1 key, if you leave it inside the unit by accident, they charge you 50euro to come and unlock the door; with 1 key it makes it difficult to do individual sightseeing.

Check-in was very easy and straightforward. Frederic sent us the check-in/check-out instructions and it was very easy to follow. Although the space was small, it was perfect for my family of 5 (kids ages- 14,11, 5). The heaters were the best as it was very cold. We had appliances to use and Frederic included a book of suggestions, which is thoughtful for individuals who may not have looked into places to go to. Would definitely stay here again! However, our stay was dampened a bit because you need a code to get through the main door into the complex and that code changed midday without our knowledge on our very first day so we were locked out of the apartment after returning from dinner and Frederic wasn’t immediately responsive. Luckily a neighbor saw us and let us in or else we wouldn’t have had a place to sleep that night since we didn’t get a response from Frederic until the following morning. But I think we were just unlucky, I hope this hasn’t happened to anyone else. The location of the Airbnb is great. It’s a good size apartment for 4 adults max. It would’ve been nice to have more than one set of keys though.

We (2 adults and 2 small kids) had a great stay in the apartment. It looks just as shown in the pictures and being located through a courtyard, remains quiet despite being in a busy part of the city. The location is perfect - virtually all of the major attractions are walkable or an easy metro/bus journey away (bus direct to Louvre leaves from right outside the door). The apartment is on the ground floor which means it is easily accessible. The space is a good size (by Parisian standards) for a family of 4 and it was great to have a separate bedroom for the kids. We were staying during a heatwave when the hottest ever temperature (43C!) was recorded in Paris so having the air conditioning unit in the apartment made a lot of difference to our enjoyment of the trip. We were able to go out in the morning when it was a bit cooler to see some sights, come back and relax and cool down for a while, before heading out again later. A definite plus for the warmer months! A selection of up to date Paris guidebooks is available in the apartment which is a nice touch. Although we didn't have any questions, Frederic was proactive and provided clear instructions regarding check-in so I'm sure he would been responsive to any questions. It was all made very easy though. Overall a great apartment in a great location and at a good price - looking forward to coming back!

We loved staying at Frederic’s elegant flat! It is right in the middle of everything in busy Paris but yet so quiet and homey. Everything was within walking distance: cafes, markets, bakeries, the Metro, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was perfect. We are a family of three so the space was the perfect size for us. The portable AC was a godsend! It really saved us since we were there during the awful European heat wave of June 2019. The only minor problem was that the washer/dryer was broken and we really needed it. However, Frederic came immediately and tried his best to fix it, but in the end had to hire someone to repair it after our departure. We really appreciated his effort and made do by washing our clothes in the sink and hanging them to dry around the apartment instead. I can not and will not use this unfortunate problem to criticize the overall apartment, which was just lovely! Thank you Frederic - we loved Paris and your flat!

We could not have chosen a better rental for our stay in Paris. The unit is EXACTLY as pictured, but the added bonus is the sound proofing and privacy the glass walls and curtains provide. We brought my 80 year old mom with us to Paris, and the security of the double entry coupled with the ground floor unit was a fantastic choice. There were plenty of cafes/bars within a short walking distance as well as several bakeries. We had a minor question when we arrived, and Frederic was quick to respond and a wonderful host. We would highly recommend this rental!

My young adult daughters and I stayed at the St. Germain Elegant Suite in January 2019. The location is perfect for wondering in the St. Germain neighborhood and getting to the metro and RER was quite easy for venturing to other areas. Neighborhood amenities are just steps away - bakery, grocery, good cafes/bistros, etc. A very nice wine store is only a few doors away. Plus it is super close to all the fabulous shopping in that area.The suite has 2 bedrooms - a double and two twins (and a sofa bed which we did not need.) Lots of pillows and beds were comfortable.The bathroom has double sinks and a washer/dryer. We did not really use the kitchen but it is well stocked with dishes, etc. Coffee maker, hot water pot and toaster. Check in was easy - we were able to drop our bags around 10am, wander around a bit, and the apartment was ready when expected at 1:00. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for families or small groups traveling together.

Wonderful apartment! I spent a week here with a friend; I was working, she was on vacation. The location is ideal and perfect. I accesssed the 8th for work very easily and my friend found the central location extremely convenient. The apartment is serene and calm. We appreciated the separate bedrooms, and double-sink bathroom (a rarity in Paris apartments, believe me!) as we were on different schedules and this enabled us to each go about our mornings as needed. Frederic makes the arrival (and departure) from the apartment very easy and independent. Fantastic stay.

We stayed in this apartment with our three young kids (7, 6 and 3). The location was superb! The metro station is very close and we enjoyed the boulangerie down the block almost every morning. Our kids loved walking to Luxembourg Garden and eating pizzas from Pizza Chic just around the corner. Lovely shopping right around too. The apartment was perfect for our family, comfortable, quiet and we felt very safe. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit Paris.

I loved the apartment! The photos reproduce it with precision. Everything is brand new and the two rooms are super comfortable although small, but we did not need more space than that. The clothes washing machine is a super plus! Another good thing is that the apartment is located at the basement so that you don't have to carry the luggage through the stairs (which is very common in Paris). Very silent apartment ,even being in one of the busiest streets of Saint Germain area.The instructions of how to get the keys were absolutely precise. For sure I will rent it again for my next stay in May 2017.

St Germain Elegant was perfect for us....2 couples and a single. We were surprised with a welcome bottle of champagne! The location couldn't have been better. We walked out the door turned left and there was a wonderful bakery, around the corner was a small grocery. We had breakfast at the apartment, which has a nice kitchen fully equipped. The location was great!! It is on the first floor, so no stairs...the bus stops right in front...Metro is across the street. We walked the neighborhood which had little shops, nice Bistros...on Sunday a Farmer's Market just across the street. For a wonderful stay in Paris we highly recommend this place! Thank you Andre'!

The location can't be beat. It's about three blocks away from the Boulevard St. Germain, wedged in between two metro stations (Rennes and St. Sulpice) and several bus stops (one just outside the gate), and walking distance from Le Bon Marche (with its delectable, mouth-watering gourmet epicerie) and several other stores. Andre and his friends made check-in/out very convenient. All was arranged via email, so we never met, but nothing was amiss. We punched in the codes for the gate and the mailbox, retrieved the keys, and entered the apartment. Check-out was just as easy: we left the trash to one side of the kitchen, the towels in the bathroom, returned the keys to the mailbox, and left by 10AM. Upon entering, the courtyard is somewhat bleak and unwelcoming. We deliberately chose a ground-floor apartment because my mother suffers from arthritic knees, but the apartment was a little dark (darker than the pictures suggest). It didn't help that one of the lamps was broken when we got there. The second room (with the two twin beds) was also much smaller than expected, and there was barely any space to hang our clothes or place our suitcases. Andre and the other hosts never contacted us during our stay, but we found the privacy quite reassuring. And, the hosts were sweet enough to welcome us with a bottle of champagne. We particularly appreciated the mini-A/C in the living room as temperatures in Paris rose to 28-degrees celsius when we were there. Amenities (e.g., towels, soaps, shampoos, TP) were also plentiful (enough for a four day stay).

The check-in and check-out was fantastically easy and the ground floor location made it ideal for our family with young children to come and go, especially with suitcases. The location in the 6th is very good and within minutes of most what we wanted to see by foot, and a short uber ride to other parts of Paris. The apartment itself is nicely renovated and very tastefully arranged - while the space isn't very large, it's so well arranged that it was comfortable for a family of 5. A great value as well compared to other places we considered. It's within 2-3 blocks of the Jardin du Luxembourg and if you're a runner, a good way to get your runs in while visiting Paris (not always easy to go for runs).

L'appartement d'André est très bien placé au milieu de la rue de Rennes, de ses restaurants, de ses commerces et proche de plusieurs stations de métro et bus. L'appartement était très propre à notre arrivée et il correspond en tous points au descriptif. Il se situe au fond d'une petite cour. Il est par conséquent protégé des bruits de la rue. Par contre l'insonorisation avec l'appartement voisin est très médiocre. Il est nécessaire d'apporter des bouchons d'oreilles si vous voulez dormir au delà de 7h00... Les renseignements et conseils donnés préalablement par André sont très utiles.

This spot was an excellent home base for our stay in Paris. The little portable air conditioner had a hard time keeping the place cool even though it wasn't hot outside. La forma de hacer check in y check out sin tener que coincidir en una hora con el anfitrión es fabuloso, porque las llaves están en una caja de correo con código y te dan la clave para la entrada del edificio. Cuando estás viajando no es fácil calcular la hora de llegada. La ubicación es realmente buena y muy cerca de muchos cafés, bares, panaderías y dos supermercados que ayudaban mucho. Además el sistema de manual que te deja Andreé para saber como funcionan todos los artefactos electrónicos es buenísimo, no queda duda de como utilizarlos correctamente. Además, en el manual te ayudan con sugerencias de paseos, restaurantes y lugares cercanos que pudieras necesitar como farmacias, supermercados y panaderias. Es importante mencionar que la lavadora también era secadora, algo que en otros departamentos no es así y se debe colgar la ropa. Además la disposición en tener todo listo para usar el sillón-cama del living fue de mucha ayuda pues a pesar de hacer una reserva para 4 durante unos días fuimos 5. Muy buen alojamiento es pequeño pero no se necesita nada más para conocer esa preciosa ciudad. Muchas gracias Andreé y Frederick con los que mantuve comunicacion via email espero volver algún dia. Además el departamento tenía caja fuerte muy útil cuando se anda de viaje. Realmente muy recomendable.

Andre was an incredible host and the apartment was perfect. We were greeted to nice music and a nice bottle of wine. There was impeccable internet access, all rooms were as described and the apartment was very clean and tidy. There was a very nice guide of the area which included places for lunch and dinner, local amenities and the small details that make your stay memorable. Location was also great with a simple bus ride to Louvre or the Tour de Eiffel. Andre communicated with us during our stay to ensure all was in place and everything worked to perfection. We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this beautiful cozy apartment from 9/11/15 - 9/19/15. We were kindly greeted by Frederic who showed us around the apartment. It is completely furnished with all the amenties needed to make this place a temporary home. The description and pictures are accurate as they appear on the site. The best part of the day for us in this place was sitting on the couch, opening up the large windows and listening to relaxing music. It is truly a lovely place. The apartment is on the first floor but still extremely private. From the busy street you approach beautiful wooden doors which you enter using a private code. Once inside, you are in a driveway/courtyard that leads you towards the apartment. There are convenient stores, bakery's, restaurants, coffee shops, the metro and bike rentals all located nearby. Perfect location. Perfect stay. Thank you!

We were welcomed by Frederic, who was very gracious and walked us through the whole apartment answering any and all of our questions. They gifted us a bottle of wine, such a lovely touch! The guidebook (created by Frederic) in the apartment was an amazing resource, we used it many times throughout our stay. The apartment is larger in person, and very easy to get and out, and we felt very safe. Would definitely recommend this apartment, and would book it again on my next trip to Paris!

My family and I loved staying here during our 4 night trip to Paris. Frederic, the apartment manager, made us feel welcome from our very first communication and was very easy to communicate with throughout. He greeted us upon arrival, gave a full tour of the place and even booked our return airport taxi for us! The apartment is true to its posting - very clean, bright and well equipped. It is centrally located with many shops, metro stops and eateries nearby. We enjoyed that it was on the first floor (safely away from the street with a secure entrance) since we had quite a bit of luggage. Would love to stay here again and thank you to our host for such a great stay!

We had a great experience staying at André's. We received a warm welcome from Fréderic upon our arrival, together with a guidebook with suggestions on where to go and what to see. André was also kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine for our enjoyment. The apartment was located in an extremely convenient spot, within easy walking distance of all sorts of restaurants, a bakery, a pharmacy, and two metro stops. We were able to walk to most of the major tourist attractions in under 30 minutes. The apartment itself was clean and tidy, reasonably cool, and outfitted with all the amenities one would normally receive at a hotel. The washer/dryer was a nice bonus. I would absolutely recommend staying at André's!

Our lodging in the Saint Germain apartment took place on a family trip to Europe between late July and early August, 2015. We had never used this hosting modality before and didn´t know what to expect. I´d highlight as some of the best aspects of this type of lodging the warm and almost domestic ambience, as well as the possibility of saving time and money by making a meal at home. The Saint German apartment is a feast for the eyes - the tasteful decor combines excellent architectural solutions the harmonic combinations and current technology in kitchen cabinets. The available kitchen appliances and dinner/tableware are new and handy, helping us get over breakfast more quickly. We did not cook in the apartment, as we made the most of our days in Paris by visiting its beautiful attractions and sights. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a glass of the delicious Bordeaux wine that awaited us as a welcome token every night, when quite exhausted we arrived home. I commend the very comprehensive and instructive manual about the apartment, its surroundings and also about tourism in Paris that awaited us, along with the nice Bordeaux. The apartment is very well situated, not only for being a few blocks from Boulevard Saint Germain, as by the proximity of Saint Sulpice metro station. There are a variety of cool shops and two small supermarkets very close to the apartment in Rue de Rennes. The drawbacks we have to share should be judged in light of the size of my family (the couple and three daughters 15, 13 and 8 years old) and our background (I believe we still cannot manage to travel light). Upon arriving we had to undo part of the beautiful decor to accommodate our luggage and couldn’t find enough space for clothes and shoes we would wear while in Paris. The apartment has only one window overlooking a car park, thus ventilation is not very effective. During our stay the bathroom exhaust fans were not working, so every time we arrived home we had to open this one window in order to get “fresher” air. Moreover, as we were there in the peak of summer, nights were extremely hot and the only available floor fan was obviously not enough to guarantee proper sleep for any of us five.

Not cleaned and poor communication
The place had an amazing location but when we arrived it was not cleaned and we couldn’t get in touch with the host. We never actually talked with Jose he had agents working on his behalf and they didn’t get back to us in a timely manner and we had to leave the place with our three kids while they cleaned. The apartment is mostly as advertised but a little worn and quite dark. Wouldn’t rent again.

Had a lovely 3 night stay this St Germain apartment . Despite some previous reviews have some genuine issues we had none at all during our stay and no problem at all with shower and toilet . Reached from a very quiet coartyard on the ground floor it has a very reasonable sized living/ kitchen area off which there were closed off 2 bedrooms with 2 singles and a double . Very clean and comfortable and no noise at all . The air con unit in the lounge was more than adequate to cool the apartment in 21 degree temp . 5mins walk to metro line 4 with great access to all areas . We like to visit the lively Rue de Mouffetard which is only a 20 min walk via the lovely Jardins de Luxembourg . I have stayed in Paris over 50 times and would say this is right up there and would stay again . My only very minor suggestion is that there are plenty of wine glasses but no normal glasses which would be welcome . Thanks again for hosting us . Robert

Decent stay in a nice location of Paris. Easy checkin and nice beds to sleep our family of five. However the washing machine was not working well so we didn’t use it and the pillows definitely need to be replaced. Otherwise our time at this spot was fine given the amount of time we spent in the apartment.

The pictures tell the wrong story. The place is not well maintained - walls peeling, broken tiles, worn out and missing linens, burned out light bulbs, and missing the basics like garbage bags and paper towel. Sadly, not very clean either. It’s a good location though, with lots of potential for improvement.

Good Location - Poor/Nonexistent Customer Service
Property located in a very convenient and lively section of St. Germain close to the Latin Quarter, great restaurants, brasseries, etc. Unfortunately, management will ignore your communication attempts if there is an issue with the unit. We had a plumbing/drainage problem and requested to have the issue resolved on two (2) separate occasions with NO response from anyone at Chic Suites. Be aware that IF you encounter a problem, they will not respond.....and why would they.....they already have your money! Sacre bleu! Zut alors! Mon dieu!

We were not very satisfied with the apartment. our family of 5 stayed at the beginning of January. we rent apartments because it is more convenient for us with children to eat homemade food. but unfortunately in the kitchen there was absolutely no utensils for cooking food. only 1 pot and a few not very clean frying pans. the knives were completely dull and there was no cutting board at all. the dishes are all dirty, and the dishwasher washes disgustingly. some towels are gray in color, others with some kind of stains of unknown origin. in the washing machine there was a towel all dirty and damp, and from the washing machine there was a smell of mold and rotten linen. and it was not very pleasant to use the washing machine when the owner leaves such a surprise for the guests. dust everywhere. It is impossible to take a shower because the water drain does not work and all the water is standing. there is someone's hair on the walls of the shower. one battery in the room with 2 beds does not work. in principle, the apartments left a feeling of not very clean and negligent. although the apartments are located very conveniently, only 20-30 minutes from the main attractions. as well as in a quiet cozy courtyard. so de nice that there was coffee, tea, sugar and salt. such little things are important when you stay for a couple of days and do not need to buy separately.

Nice stay in a nice place
Nice place situated in an amazing part of paris. The place it self is very nice suited for 2 couples. It is near all the landmarks and has amazing restaurants located nearby
